Unlimited Imagination
"The level of our success is limited only by our imagination and no act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted." - Aesop
The ability to imagine something in your life is boundless. You can dream of things day in and day out. There are material things, the lottery, relationships, abilities or most anything.
We have a limitless wish list for our lives.
Yet most people keep their dreams locked up inside, only to be reviewed from time to time by only them self. The dreams never see the light of day because we hold our self back, afraid to move forward, afraid of failure. So each and every time we think of those things we want in our life, the next step is never taken.
An open door that we never walk through.
Even when you can see a glimpse of what is out there, we stay on inside. The grass may be green and comfortable, but it is the comfort of where we are currently which holds us back from something far greater. A world imagined will remain that until we choose to step forward and experience it.
Like the day before a marriage or the pending birth of a child. These are things dreamed of and now you are on the threshold of stepping through the open door. You are now ready to experience all that has been imagined for so long. It is both exciting and terrifying at the same time, but boldness of movement will allow you to reach what was once dreamed.
Set aside your fear of the unknown.
Find out what else is on the other side of the door. That is where your dreams reside and through that door you must walk in order to reach them.

Warmth Of A Sunrise
“There's a sunrise and a sunset every single day, and they're absolutely free. Don't miss so many of them.” ― Jo Walton
Regardless of the time of year, each morning the sun come up.
Regardless of the previous day, the sun continues to rise each day on your world.
Each day when you rise do you move to brighten another persons day?
The sun rising on a cold winter's morning, it warms if ever so slightly that which it touches.
As you rise on a new morning, try to warm the heart of those you touch in your day.
If you do, you will feel the warmth in return.

Small Movement and Large Impact
“In a gentle way, you can shake the world.” ― Mahatma Gandhi
There are many different ways it can be said. Poems of eloquent oration speak from the heart of its meaning. The written word from scriptures bear centuries old beliefs in its powerful truth. Many a performer has sung its praises and quotes from the wise speak to reinforce it.
What I speak of is, "the peace that you give, will be given unto you."
It is an old belief that when you give of yourself to others, when you make things better for them, you will receive much more in return. Very simplistic some would say. Simple can be very powerful in the bigger picture of life.
As you go through life, the big things are clear most times. They are well defined with a lot of well documented results. Yet it is the small things in life when added together outweigh all of the big things.
Your impact upon others in little increments ultimately add up into a large impact.
Think of small bad things in life, the ones you fail to act upon. Little things slowly collecting until they create a huge collapse. You have seen it happen to others and you have seen it occur in your own life.
Well the opposite can happen in positive moments and touches upon the lives of others. The small things add up over time into large ones. You serve in goodness to those around you, being a positive force upon others.
Change is gradual but watch as it grows.
In time you will see your life change for the better. Others will begin to act in a positive way upon your own life. Yes, the peace you bring to others will be brought upon you.
All you need to do is be the one to create a small movement.

Pair Of Pants
#FridayFavorite from November of 2007.
“The enemy is within the gates; it is with our own luxury, our own folly, our own criminality that we have to contend.” ― Marcus Tullius Cicero
The story of a couple who were sued for $65 million dollars over a pair of pants shows just what can happen. A man brought in two pair of pants for alteration. One pair were completed on time and the other not quite ready.
When the customer came back, he claimed they were not his.
Additionally, the customer wanted more than $1000 for the cost of a brand-new suit and the couple said no. The alteration was only $10.50...but the lawsuit was on.
The owners of the store won out in court through support of donations for lawyer fees which dragged on for more than two years. Yet the business was sold as the strain both financially and mentally wore them down.
A couple is put out of business, our society moves on.
All we can say is that issues get "overlawyered". It is life throwing stuff at us which we just would not expect. My hope is that the Chungs will recover both financially and personally. An enduring positive belief in themselves and in the goodness of others will pull them to better times.
When you find yourself in a tough spot, remember you're not alone.
There are others who are suffering just as much if not more. You will get through the situation and move on. Just have faith and belief in yourself and in others just as the Chungs encountered.
