"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." ~Albert Schweitzer
Every day of the work week, I write something that will hopefully meet a need that someone out there can use. Something that can lift another person or give them a little bit of encouragement to go further. The comments I get back are supportive and help keep my enthusiasm powered up.
Every day of the work week, you have an opportunity to meet the need of someone out there as well. Giving something to them that can lift another person or give them a little bit of encouragement to go further.
But each of us also need to have our spirits 'rekindled' from time to time. That rekindling can at times require a small spark while others require a huge flame. Either way, we all need to be rekindled from time to time.
And it is normally an encounter with another human being that causes the spark which reignites our life. It comes in many different forms. A smile, kind word or a simple cup of coffee. The sparks could be small like those mentioned. The spark could be huge such as counseling, a new friendship or a community of people helping.
When the spark occurs, you will feel it within your spirit. The person providing the spark will feel it inside as well. That is what is so cool about an encounter with someone else.
Stay inspired my friends!
