Taught Me

In a moment of wanting,

I turned to ask a question.

To ask the man who taught me so much,

A man who taught me so much.

No longer is he here to tell his truths,

To give me the turn of a tale.

But forever as my heart beats,

He will be the man who taught me so much.

Happy Fathers Day

Well I'm back home from a three week business trip. A great day and one that is celebrated as Father's Day. My children made a very nice afternoon lunch and gifts that were just perfect.

As a father, it took me many years to understand what I could have done better. But it also has given me the wisdom to know that I did a fair amount of things the right way.

My own father probably does the same thing, wondering what he could have done differently in raising my brothers and sisters. Though time and experience has taught me that he made me whom I am today. I can not ask more of him and will always be thankful to him.

There will always be days of loving memory for my father. There will always be days of loving memory that my children will hold for me. For each of you that will be, are and continue to be fathers - there will always be days of loving memory for you.

To see more of Mike Baldwins humor, please see him at either Cartoon Stock or at his own website, Cornered.

Call your Dad today and tell him you love him. Happy Father's Day Dad.
