Part Waters With Laughter
"I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time." - Charles M. Schulz
We can face the future with dread or take it one day at a time or one situation at a time for that matter. We do this quite often. We over-worry, over-fuss, or over-dread what is happening in our life.
Sometimes we just need to laugh and relax a little bit.
Humor can ease the tension and worry. It can have a healing effect on your life.
Sit back and laugh a little more. In fact, part the waters with your laughter.
Smile and enjoy the life you have, no matter how funny others may think it is.
And stay inspired my friends.

Sound Of Your Laughter
The Sound Of Your Laughter - Poem by Ronberge
The sound of your laughter
Is what pulls me through
The harshest winter
The sound of your laughter
Makes every bright summer day
Brighter
The sound of your laughter
Is what gets me up in the morning
With it
I can take anything life can bring
Not to make too much out of it
But to me
Everyday Is a good day To live
To The sound of your laughter

Make 'em Laugh
“A smile starts on the lips, A grin spreads to the eyes, A chuckle comes from the belly; But a good laugh bursts forth from the soul, Overflows, and bubbles all around.” ~ Carolyn Birmingham
Some days all I can do to get by is simply laugh at the situation before me. To get overly upset or mad would only worsen the predicament. And most likely the situation is out of my control anyway.
What better way to relieve the stress than by laughing.
There have been those who feel offended when in the seriousness of it all, someone is chuckling. Each of us react to the problems life sets before us. Those issues build and compound with each other. So much that we feel our life has been targeted with all of the world's problems.
What we can do when there seems to be no way out from under all of it is to simply laugh.
Even the doctors at the Mayo Clinic say, "...laughter helps you deal with a variety of maladies, including the stresses of daily life." A laugh or even a smile can bring the focus away from negative emotions and send us into a better mood. This mood change will give us the ability to more clearly concentrate.
What once seemed like darkness begins to brighten with new light.
So if you can help someone, "make 'em laugh."
To help even yourself, "make 'em laugh."
For everything else in life, "make 'em laugh."

Welcome Dear Child
“A baby is God's opinion that the world should go on.” ― Carl Sandburg
The world is waking this morning to another child, another chance of beauty and the wonders that life has to offer.
The world can be a cruel and ugly place if one wishes to view it that way. One can argue and believe their country or values are worse today then yesterday.
We can choose to believe that.
Or we can choose to believe otherwise.
We can choose to believe life is full of goodness and greater possibility each and every day. A budding flower in spring, fruit growing upon the vine, a child being born all offer proof that life continually offers hope and goodness.
I see hope and greatness in all of my children.
I see hope and greatness in all of my grandchildren.
I see as well that the world should go on.
And for our newest granddaughter Madilyn Rose, a rose from the south. May you dance and laugh and sing and love as your great grandmother Rose Marie did. As we all should.
Stay inspired my friends.

What Did He Say?
"It is impossible for you to be angry and laugh at the same time. Anger and laughter are mutually exclusive and you have the power to choose either." ~Wayne Dyer
A husband looking through the paper came upon a study that said women use more words than men.
Excited to prove to his wife that he had been right all along when he accused her of talking too much. He showed her the study results.
It read: "Men use about 15,000 words per day, but women use 30,000."
The wife thought for a while, then finally she said to her husband "It's because we have to repeat everything we say."
The husband said "What?"
Hopefully you laughed just a little bit along with the slight groaning that probably happened. It is that laughter that we should each try to engage in each day. Laughter has been described as "a tranquilizer with no side effects."
We each know that there is enough bad news, frustration and down right depressing things that occur each day. But there should also be moments of laughter and enjoyment. Those are the moments we should concentrate on and enjoy.
There is a good article in Psychology Today called The Science of Laughter that explores why we may or may not laugh and what the science holds as an explanation. While it may still be inconclusive, for the most part (my own unscientific opinion) is that laughter makes you feel better. It draws us together and throws down some of the barriers we put up at times.
If laughing a few times a day can ease the tension of a bad day or situation, then I'm all for it. I would rather feel good with laughter, than pain with sadness.
As Donald O'Conner sang in the movie "Singin In The Rain"; make 'em laugh, make 'em laugh.
